Standard production line with 120.000 m³/year

Foaming furnace, indirect heated
Dosing system for batch, transport system conveyor belt, several heating sections, ecologically harmless (indirect) heating, separated waste gas discharge, cooling sections, maintenance friendly construction of furnace
Foam glass gravel in its viscous state is a glass swelled by gas formers and congealed to solid foam by annealing characterized by a high heat insulation factor, pressure resistant, water and frost resistant
Foam glass gravel is used as an high-end insulating
material for the following applications:
- insulation of platform and terrace roofs
- green roof thermal insulating with drain function
- insulation for special applications
(swimming pools, tunnels)
- intensively insulating outside wall facings
- insulation for long-distance heating pipe lines
- insulation of underground storage tanks
(water, fermentation gas)
- acoustic protection
Foam glass gravel is made from 100 % recycled glass
Properties:
- density: 150 – 200 kg / m³
- bulk density 100 – 150 kg / m³
- thermal conductivity: 0.06 – 0.08 W / mK
- specific thermal capacity 850 J / kgK
- compression strength: 0.78 N / mm²
- water vapor permeability: vaporproof
- color: grey
- dimensional stability at defined
temperature and moisture < 0.2 %
- building material class A1
Use of scrap, recycled or waste glass
Sorting, cleaning, drying before use; for 1 m3 foam glass it needs approx. 150 … 200 kg scrap or waste glass
Batch plant
Milling the glass and mixing the powder with foaming agents
For example: - SiC
- MnO
- Na2Si3O7
- soot or coal powder
- CaCO3
- CaSO4
